World Mission Offering - As an American Baptist Church, the World Mission Offering we receive supports our missionaries throughout the world.  This is an annual offering taken during the months of September or October.  The World Mission Offering leads people to faith and starting new churches, trains future church leaders, promotes health in HIV/AIDS world, abolishes human trafficking, creates economic opportunity and building futures by opening the mind, empowering the heart, seeking peace and offering refuge.

America For Christ Offering - As an American Baptist Church this offering is received annually in March.  America for Christ gifts support Christ-centered ministries that are transforming lives across the United States and Puerto Rico from addressing Children in Poverty initiatives and resettling refugees violently driven from their homelands to providing evangelism training, developing discipleship resources and leading ministry workshops and conferences.

One Great Hour of Sharing - As an American Baptist Church this offering is received annually in June or July.  One Great Hour of Sharing is an offering that makes the love of Christ real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, or severe economic hardship, and for those who serve them through gifts of money and time.

Care Center Outreach- Utilizing video technology, Our worship service is shared with nine care centers ranging from independent living to full care facilities.

GPBC Mitten Patch - This is our very own collection of warm clothing, socks, gloves, hats, etc that our members contribute and we donate these to Avondale East Elementary, our "Partner In Education".

The Topeka Rescue Mission - We are a supporter with cash donations and other supplies as needed.  During the summer our Vacation Bible School program for kids ages 4-11 have a "Penny War".  This is where they bring pennies to donate and the team with the most pennies wins a prize that night!  All pennies collected are split between the Rescue Mission and Doorstep.

Doorstep - We are a supporter with cash donations and other supplies as needed.  As a member congregation of Doorstep's governing body we believe it is our duty to collect non-perishable food items through out the entire year and provide volunteer help during the month of February.  There are also receptacles throughout the church for placing empty aluminum cans.  The proceeds for recycling these goes to Doorstep as well.  During the summer our Vacation Bible School program for kids ages 4-11 have a "Penny War".  This is where they bring pennies to donate and the team with the most pennies wins a prize that night!  All pennies collected are split between the Rescue Mission and Doorstep.

Partners in Education School Supply Donations - Every year we ask that each family that attends our Vacation Bible School bring at least one school supply item for the children of Avondale East.  Our congregation also collects Box Tops for them.
